Fuji? Is that you? - Whilst researching a trip to Japan I discovered how difficult it is to guarantee seeing Mount Fuji as it is often covered in cloud. At this point I was also experimenting with some mono screen prints as a basis for my work - embracing chance happenings. From one of these prints the image of Mount Fuji emerged quite unexpectedly. Life is strange. I hope to visit Fuji myself one day and hope I am lucky enough to see it! The image also combines wire drawing and collage.
