Where’s the sea? - captures a moment on holiday on the coast in the Asterias. We had followed a path deep in vegetation running parallel to the sea, could hear the waves, smell the salt but after about 20 minutes walking still no sign of the sea. ‘Where’s the sea?’ my husband asked. We did eventually see it and the dramatic coastline was well worth the wait! This piece is reliant on the simplicity of its elements - ink wash, mono print water soluble pastels and wire drawing - to convey a sense of tranquility with an edge to it..
