Summer Solstice - a celebration of the longest day of our year and the eternal optimism of the British people that our summer will bring us warm days. The last rays of the sun become a stage against the backdrop of dark woodlands - a pivotal moment as the days begin once again to shorten. This piece has beed developed using mono screen printing techniques and incorporates oil stick and acrylic paints.
